From early January until early March in 2020 we were living in Viterbo, Italy. I was a visiting professor at the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) program, teaching Travel Photography and Travel Writing. This was to be my final semester prior to my retirement from the University of Nevada, Reno. The semester was supposed to last until the end of April, but we were forced to leave Italy early when the pandemic struck.
During our two months in Italy, however, we were able to visit a number of the country’s splendid architectural treasures, and (using only my iPhone and a selfie-stick tripod) I was moved to create virtual-reality memories, linked below.
