At Grimes Point in Churchill County, Hidden Cave was an important seasonal hunting lodge for prehistoric Native Americans who lived off the rich bounty from the lake below, now a desert playa. Visitors can learn how archaeologists discovered the layered remnants of Native American life. The initial two exterior photographs in the virtual reality tour are used courtesy of Tim Messick.
